Mark Bellingham painted his first home in San Francisco in 1985. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted team of 14 expert craftsmen serving the Bay Area. Time has passed but our values have never changed — Provide an excellent experience for our clients in terms of product and process and provide an excellent work environment for our employees.

The Mark Bellingham Painting difference is that our employees are family. Most employees have a tenure of 15+ years experience and three with 28+ years. We don't hire because we don't need to. Mark is personally involved with every project. This is truly a locally owned and operated family business.

Craftsmanship First
We never cut corners on prep. The difference between a paint job that lasts 3 years and one that lasts 12 is almost entirely in the preparation — and that's where we spend our time. On a project in Moraga the neighbor came over very upset because her painters took three days to paint her similar home and three days in our crew was still doing prep work. She realized she got what she had paid for - cheap and fast - instead of quality which costs more but lasts longer and is a value.
Respect for Your Home and Respect for You
We treat every home as if it were our own. That means careful masking, clean drop cloths, daily clean-up, and leaving your property in better shape than we found it. Our clients often have us do their homes in Wine Country and Tahoe because they trust us and our crews.

Fully Licensed & Insured
We carry full general liability, workers' compensation and hired non-owned auto insurance. You're protected, and so are our crews. We are a licensed and insured contractor which protects you from liability.
